Interesting the number of people who like Citric Acid and Blood Orange.. :

I think those cars will suffer pretty hard come resale time in a few years.

Only 3?! You must be kidding. I'll see if i can limit it to 5.

Cobalt Blue (i like this, shame they dropped it, wasnt it due to the paint being dodgy or something, like it came off really easily?)

Congo Green (this is the colour that there was only ever 1 BA GT made in). I love it.

Citric Acid - what more needs to be said?!

Meteorite (on AU's, became Mercury Silver on BA's). Sick of seeing BA's in it, I love AU's in it though.

Rapid - very nice, although in certain lights it looks like custard. I like the full blown Canary Yellow.

fades on plastic parts, like door handles, lip spoilers, window trims.

such a shame cos it was the main colour of the EB GT and ED XR8 sprint.
and my fave colour too...

Yes it does fade quite noticably(something to do with the plastics sealer used as undercoat)
Also the original factory bodykits on the ED XR's were a rubber that flexed a hell of a lot, which caused the clearcoat to blister & come off in large round sections(as anyone with original paint will no doubt agree)
Never heard of cobalt blue being used on the window trims - were all black unless I'm mistaken.
Cobalt blue was originally launched with the EBGT in Oct 92, & was 1 of 3 EBGT colours. It was not available on any other vehicle til the ED release in July 93 where it became part of the 'prestige paint option'(basically available on XR / Fairmont / Fairmont GHIA) & was to be discontinued with the intor of the EF range. There were however a small run of EF XR's done in Cobalt Blue - prior to the intro of its replacement (Navy Blue)
