Hey fez owners.
I have noticed some strange orange spots on the head liner (interior roof fabric). It is mainly consistent on the drivers/passenger side where the plastic meets the fabric. Ive also boticed some in the boot?? I have no idea what it is any ideas?? :

Depends how often you hit your head on the roof...... Its very possibly it could be mould. Or even a slow leak in the windscreen, could be letting a little bit of water in.

Mould spores
Has it been a bit wet where you live lately , drive with the window down in the rain or jumped in the car with wet hair. They can be dangerous to people with asthma or similar breathing difficulties. Best way to clean them off is with a very weak solution of bleach and water , don't dry brush them off or you will spread them around and leave the car in the sun with the windows down and the boot open for a few hours over a couple of days The sun is the best way to kill off the spores.

Dame, if you could take a better and less blurry pic I could identify what the spots are, Cuz mould spores are greeny black, and not orange...
oh and BTW, since when is there a such a thing as orange hair gel???? |

Yeah sorry about the pic, i had to use my dodgy web cam. I think it might be from the rain, but i always drive with the windows open 70% of the time.

Just a guess guys and way left field. Do they use any glue under that area to stick the lining to the roof ? if so the back side of the lining may not have been sealed properly and some of the glue is leeching through ?

Ummmmm... the metal ABOVE the orange spots might be rusting.... and the rust is seeping into the fabric....

Hmmm after I cleaned my car yesterday I noticed I have similar spots on the passenger side. Looks like dryed overspray of some type of glue.
