Default What's My AU Worth?

Hey All im considering selling my AUI Forte but have no idea really what it would be worth. Any ideas?

Liquide Silver, XR6 VCT engine, 5 speed, XR front and rear seats, Lowered, 17inch Tickford wheels, Tinted windows, 139,000km, just serviced, 12 months rego. Drivers seat needs a little re-trim but been quoted $150 for that.

I will include my stereo but I really want an extra 2k for that.
Pioneer Head unit, Pioneer 12 stacker, Pioneer Ipod adaptor,Clarion front splits, Pioneer 6x9s, 15inch 500wrms Bluapunkt velocity sub in a box, Kicker 4x65wrms amp, Coustic 400wrms mono block amp.

Any ideas on a asking price would be great guy's.

Cheers,

Kirky

Considering its forte i reckon bout 8k-10k depending on body condition im sure others will tell u what price it should go for. Any particular reason for selling it?? i think considering the mods u have done u should not sell it u will never get near your money back.

my 2c

if it were my car, I wouldnt be happy selling it for less than $14000, but if I were buying it I wouldnt be prepared to spend more than $8000.

Id suggest taking out the stereo and selling it seperateley, as I cant see it adding $2000 to the sale price (not doubting its worth it).

Redbook says the average private sale should be $6200 - $8400... sounds about right too....

Well of course they buy it for $8K and sell it for $12K. It's called being in business. Which will also get you a warranty etc. Buy the same car privately and you would get it for $10K-$11K and no warranty.
And for insurance, it's the same, The higher the value the more premium you pay = the more money the insurance company makes.

LOL, why don't you won’t see the pics? Why would it make you cry?

Anyway I’d also like to see the images on the interior and outside of the car!

Cheers

Hey guy's,

Thanks for price guide.

The reason im thinking about selling it is I'm just bored with now. Thats just my personality though. I get bored really easy. Im looking at a 2005 Fairmont Ghia.

I dont have any pics at the mo, but will post some up soon.

Thanks again for all your replies.

Cheers.
