Far Out
Has anyone seen this movie ?? I hired it last night and watched it with missus. Mate, I crapped myself. This is one very involving and scary flick. What makes it worse is that it is actually "loosely" based on a true story........I hate stuff like that cos you know that something vaguely similiar actually really happened to someone. If you haven't seen it.....do yourself a favour and hire it. It's an hour and a half of good entertainment.

I'm going to have to see it, I love that scared feeling.. Too bad it doesn't happen as easily as it did years ago.

I saw it in the movies, thought it was an awesome movie, even better that it was based on a true story. Scary to think it can happen, but the actual movie didn't scare me.

yeh saw it when it came out in the cinemas. Its one of those movies that make you believe that what happened can happen in the real world. And thats why i think its an awesome movie!

All I remember about the movie was a bit of action at the start, then the rest was just endless courtroom scenes that I could have fallen asleep in. Didnt really do anything for me.

I went and saw it at the cinemas with the receptionist from work (oops) a while back. Pretty good movie, I thought.
I didn't expect much as it wasn't my choice of fillum, but it turned out to be worth the ticket prices.

Sorry, IMO the exorcist cannot be topped. The best possession movie bah none. I still watch it regularily. By the way, I'm getting extremely excited. 6/6/6 is coming and the new version of the Omen is being released...

I saw this months ago.
I agree, The Exorcist is by far one othe the scariest movies of all time. This wasn't bad though, but the Exoricist still remains as the king. |

Well
looks like the RETURN of the OMEN is on the cards. They are already advertising this Flick as we speak......Now the original OMEN was an absolute classic so I hope they don't fork this one up like they have with the Exorcist sequels. I'm gonna have to see this one. http://www.apple.com/trailers/fox/theomen/ And I just love the fact that it will be screening on the 06/06/06 How evil is that !!!!!!!!!

Was a pretty tame movie scare wise, my gf jumped a lot but she jumps at anything...
The courtroom stuff was a bit too slow but i thought the avoidance of excessive gore to shock was a nice change from most horror movies, made it more "believable" and i liked the scratches on the bedroom wall, was kinda creepy. The whole epilepsy + starvation thing made it seem more plausible, for me anyway. but I'm a film student so no one wants to watch movies with me anymore cause i analyse the film as i watch...

I liked the movie, wasn't scarey, more thought provoking. I'm not holding my breath over "The Omen" remake. Too many good old movies are ruined by remakes (seems to be a growing trend too). The original rocks you, the remake just leaves a bad taste in your mouth.
