I have a T5 out of an EA 6cyl
I also have a "project" AU fairmont with 4 speed auto. Has anyone done this conversion? I have previosly put an AU 4 speed into a NA, the only difference being that the lower arms on either side are non-existent on the Au as the box mounts directly to the sump. failing that does anyone want to swap an EA manual box for an AU box?? |

the e series boxes are about 2 inches shorter than the Au series. the actual size of the gbox is the same, however the bellhousing is different
the ea box shifter will poke through the floor pan about where the radio is and the rear mounts wont line up. if u get an AU bell housing if should be possible
