Default Help locating speedometer cable for Sat Nav install

I am about to install a blaupunkt dxv satellite navigation system in my xt and i need to locate a speedometer signal wire. I believe there should be one going to the radio. Can you help identify the correct wire?

Cheers

This wire can be located on Front Passenger side kick panel. Locate 565B-W(Black Wire with white stripe) and splice the wire at the back of the connector C-119.

Cheers

Thank you for the prompt reply. There is also a back-up lights signal wire that needs to be connected. I assume this means reversing lights. Why would this be needed. Have you installed a balupunkt dvx system? Can I get ball park price for installation?

Cheers

You only need the reverse wire hooked up if you plan to add a external reverse camera. If not don't connect wire-we don't. We currently only install VDO so I couldn't quote correctly on installation. Sorry.
