At the moment its on a temporary server which means I dont have the ability to set up the passwords etc.
Unfortunatly the temp server time is drawing to a close so I'm going to have to look a getting it onto a real server asap. At that point I hope to have all the Premier members area, video clips and emails back in operation pending bandwidth.
I could just "buy" some space on a commercial server but the cost would be too much to bear and I dont want to ask the Founders/mebers for any money as everyone has already done their bit. So for the moment its all abit up in the air. Needless to say its not going to shut down on us or die. If need be I will fork out for another server space when the time comes but hopefully something will work out and aufalcon.com will continue to grow and finally get its makeover thats been waiting in the wings for so long.

Who would of figured it would turn into such a big site huh? Not me thats for sure!

Casper - Perhaps you should PM Mr Cube about hosting the site. I'm sure he may know of someone who could help.

Any chance of a joint deal with AFF? As it was with the old sever and FF? Maybe when DM is up and running, aufalcon.com members can put in a little extra if they decide to be a DM here, so we can buy some space. It's an idea anyway. If it need be Casper, I'll put my hand up for a few bucks.

I heard of all the improvements that were planned for aufalcon on FF.com, and cannot wait for it to go ahead.

Likewise, some spare cash would be better off spent to aufalcon.com then wasting it on maccas. lol

I'm glad to see it still has so much support. Its 1st birthday is actually May 7th so its not even a year old...
I personally didnt think it would have kept going (let alone growing) for this long when we started it.
I appreciate everyone offering more money but its not really a long term answer. Each month the hosting bill would arrive and it would simply not be sustainable. Hopefully we can do some sort of deal with AFF or another hosting site (no, we will NEVER move to another forum, AFF or nothing I say) and aufalcon.com can continue and get its makover.

I miss the premier section too.... but its not lost, I still have all the code on the computer.

Good stuff, so is my Sun system and I thought my laptop was aswell, until I tried to restore some files. I do regular checks of my Sun system but never checked my laptops backup, so as long as you know you can restore from your backups, your fine.

correct.

Somehow I doubt that (barring the end of the world) anything will be lost.
