I have an aftermarket alloy overflow tank on the AU3 XR8 which you can't see through, and one of the hoses fouls as well.
So I'm looking to go back to a genuine stock overflow tank. Can anyone with and AU2 / 3 XR8 please confirm if our genuine stock overflow tanks have a coolant level sensor built in or not? The previous owner threw the stock one away so I can't check which one I should buy. I know that standard AU's had no sensor, and Fairmonts had a sensor, but not sure which one the XR8s have. XR8's should have a sensor.
Well, mine does anyway - 2001 AU2 220kw model.
