i just bought a new gear knob for my 1998 Ford Laser and i don't know how to replace it. The stock Gear knob doesn't twist off like other ones do, and i'm not sure if i just pull it off or if there is an easier way to do it.
thanks : |

Does the one that you bought have a thread on it? Because if it does, it means that the old one threads on too. They can be really tight to get off too, so just check to see what the new one has and judge from there how to get the old one off

I had the same problem at first. I think it's fixed in there pretty tight. Just use a bit of elbow grease and it should come off. Once you twist it off the first time it should be easier after that.
