Was just looking at and comparing the stance and ride height between the WS Fiesta Zetec and my Polo Gti and it seems that the Fiesta sits lower than the Polo
Kinda shocked that it was lower but at the same time with mixed emotions of happiness that it sits so nice and low but also concerned with potential scrapes to the front bumper and lip of the Fiesta. |

Yep, as mentioned in other threads - about 103 cm clearance so lower than our GTI
Our Zetec has already had the front scraped (brother inlaw did it over a minor speed bump - wasn't going fast either) We have to enter our driveway at an angle (not with the GTI though) |

Yeah, I now have to drive really slow up the driveway from fears of scraping the damn thing. Car looks cool though but just a bit of a pain. Now i' thinking of whether I really should go ahead and upgrade the suspension to bilstein and HR combo for the Gti. Scratching my head now.
I was at Coles before and lucky I didn't drive up any further in my parking bay otherwise I would've scraped the chin on the kerb. There's absolutely no clearance unless the kerb, gutter or whateva people call em are low enough. |

I did the same thing the other day Zetec Dave. Drove right up the park, and thank christ the curb I was on was fairly low (it's higher at the other end of the carpark) as i cam outside from the shops and nearly s*^t myself. No scratches, but it's very low. Mind you the back skirt is now much higher than the old WP Fiesta body kit, that looks the tits but was an absolute pain in the ***.

Yep my wife has had instructions to not go near a standard size gutter since she got it because they just wont make it over, she hasn't hit one yet, it doesn't take long to get used to parking short
