Has any body Encountered problems in the Au Falcon Non Climate Control model. The recirculate to Fresh control on these units have a basic control panel, with buttons Marked Ac, and Ac Max On One side, and symbol for fresh air or recirc on the other, usally with the older systems as soon as you press ac max the control valve will revert to the recirc symbol and the control flap will shut off fresh air flow and recirc cabin air to improve ac system effeicency. I have had three Au falcon in a row now at my shop that will not actuate the recirculation flap even when you press the recirc button the light appears to change up but the flap does not move.Anyone had this problem :togo:

Had some problems in the old taxis, the plastic arm thing that activate them break. Still happens on new cars too.
Option B is a problem in the vaccuum system, usually hard to find unless it's the main one from the engine but then usually no a/c parts work I screwed mine shut so you couldn't get fresh air and suck leaves into the air conditioner. You want fresh air open the window and turn a/c off |

How did you screw the flap shut? Do you have to pull the dash off to get to the heater unit or is it possible close the flap without doing that?

Take out glovebox
Put hand in hole where fan is and make sure flap is "up", and that it stays there, this is recycle mode In top left corner of the behind the glovebox part screw in a 4-5cm screw Door can no longer shut (come down) and activate fresh air Just feel with your hands and you can work out where the screw should be |
