Colouring the dash is a bad idea, good for ford though, makes us look far uper class!

It's certainly bright! It's interesting that the SS appears to have a tiptronic shifter while the luxo model uses buttons on the steering wheel.

i'm sure if ford put it in the falcon you would say it was the best thing since sliced bread.

These pics are poor quality scans from wheels magazine, in the mag they look much much better

true. the SS carries on the colour coded instruments to the actual console now, so it's just a natural progession really. I think that idea would take off if Ford let you colour code parts of your interior, dash etc.. (within reason).

Not when it looks like it has been spraypainted by some moron who wants their interior to look different from the others. Go to LS1 if you want everyone to agree with you, although i'm sure they will mostly hate it too, it really looks that cheap and tacky. I pray Ford don't do something that looks that bad.

That red dash is shocking. Those 2 knobs on the first pic look like they have been stolen straight out of a ba falcon.

I like it a lot besides the bright dash that would be annoying when driving along.

That always been my biggest gripe with Commodore. The never get the dash right and whilst I cannot speak for the VE the quility is usually very average.

God that looks ugly.

If it didn't have the colour scheme, it would be so much better IMO.

Other then that, it looks pretty good. Especiallly the Auto shifter.

I'll wait to see it in the actual car! I do agree that it looks quite BA/F ish! That was one area they've been canned on for years, the horrible looking dash as compared the the Falcon's which looks much, much better!

OMG you so did not just say that, it's hillarious. EL passed, but the AU is just damn shocking, the BA/F passes but its still bland as it the VY/Z dash, but there is nothing horrible about it. VT interior had it all over the AU and BA/F, the VT would have to be one of the nicests interiors I have seen in a car especally the Calais and STatesman models.

And you can get flamed here as well for the same thing, but on that note I must say im just under 6 foot and I cannot see me having to "stretch" AT ALL! A lot of cars have them there nothing wrong with it.

The bottom one looks like a modern Mercedes crossed with a cheap Korean or Jappa with that horrible shifter.

Surely that orange dash isn't gonna be on the production cars.

The 4th pic with the Vectra inspired one is the best imo, cleanest design, not as Japanese as the others.

They are located right infront of the door handle. The worst position in my opinion. Stretching forward everytime to open/close the windows.

I got flamed for saying so on ls1. Any subjective critisism gets flamed. You either luv it or keep your mouth shut I have found out over there.

At least I can say it here. The colour looks plain sh#t.
