Should sell at that price, problem is the reserve hasnt been met.
Is it just me or are 95% of T3's in NSW?

Its cheap, but not that cheap considering there's still a day to go, serious bidders usually come in late.

the BAD thing about it is the rims... makes me wonder why the genuine rims arn't on it... wouldnt it be DAMN hard to sell a stolen Ts50? It's not like there are STACKS of them around yeah? :lookedat: rob |

its not hard to sell anything thats stolen. the hard part is the buyer keeping it.
all the info is there, all you need to do is take it down to the RTA and get it checked out. after that there still no guarantee the car is legit as the number could have been taken from another genuine car and used for this sale. unless you go look at it before hand you could be buying a stolen car, the real deal or nothing at all. |

I'll let you guys know how the auction goes. If the reserve doesn't jump dramatically, I will bid on it.

hm something HAS to be wrong....surely a T3 is still worth somewhere in the 30's or high 20's!
T1 or T2 I can understand.

Ha ha.. what a copycat. He has copied a couple of paragraphs, and the photo of the engine builders plaque is taken from the Hand Built article I did for aufalcon.com. The second paragraph in black.. word for word is what I did. Third paragraph in red.. again, word for word copied. Funny thing is, the paragraph he has copied has nothing to do with the car he's selling. It was to do with the 220kW motors.
This is the response I got from Mr Copycat. Quote:

I was wondering if that TS50 decal? on the side skirt comes on all T3s. That's one thing I'd have removed if it wasn't.
And I wish I had of waited now, and kept driving the EA just that tad longer. My ute cost me the current bid ($17,000).

Decent buy ! i have a reasonable scam radar and i reckon this looks fairly legit -even his ID has TS50 in it , which is what you might expect with an enthuiest ,all the numbers are there ,build plaque + IIRC blueprint wasn't available in the AU series on much else .Thing is what do you think a dealer would have offered as a trade in ???Sadly not much more if at all methinks .

One of the neighbours got $18,500 trade on a low milage XR8 AU s2 ute on a new Nissan pulsar ST. That TS50 S3 would have to bring mid to high 20's as a trade in.

Its like going from a real mans car to a Glen Iris lawn bowls car. If I had not had my AU Ghia I would have brought the ute of him. It was smick as and a more genuine deal than the TS that is advertised. buickman |
