It appeals to me because it is a little ugly. It looks like a purpose built machine that is made to be driven hard.

The wing is ugly, but no doubt there for a purpose if that cammer 5.0L donk is revving hard pushing that beast around a track.

I love it, and the spoiler would come in handy with 500hp on the track.

I think the Mustang GT-R is fugly. 440hp @ 7000rpm and 400ftlbs @ 5500rpm isn't my cup of tea either. A Supercharged 5.4 with 500hp @ 6000 and 600ftlbs @ 2000 - 5000rpm would be much nicer IMHO. 600ftlbs throughout the rev range... mmm... torque...
It would be a great thing, in a car that looked like the normal GT Mustang. Or maybe this car... 1967 Ford GT Mk4 7.0litre (427ci) Big Block V8 373kW @ 6400rpm 637Nm @ 5000rpm 0-100km/h: 3.3 sec (est.) Standing-1/4 Mile: 10.5 sec (est.) Top Speed: 354km/h Ford will never have the balls to make a car like that again, which is a shame. They could make every supercar/exotic car maker quiver in fear, just like they did to Ferrari and such in the 1960's. |

Considering how awesome the GT40 was back in 1967 (a car as fast wasn't built until the McLaren F1 in 1993)... the new GT is a pushover... it pushes no boundaries like the old one did, it simply conforms. As for the GT-R.. are they even going to make that thing? Last edited by Steffo; 13-01-2005 at 12:19 PM. |

Nice. If the wing is removed (for street duties) she will be a fine looking car.
