Default Stone chips on WS front bar

Hmm, is the paint fairly thin on the WS Fiesta front bar? I've taken it down dirt roads maybe 3 times and there are a fair amount of stone chips on the front bar.

I have a Zetec with the front spolier and the only damage I have is two massive scratches under the innermost part of the spolier from bad driveways. And I drive mine like a baby. They are not visible till you get under the car though. My auntys Swift has a massive issue with stonechips on the front bar though. Maybe the front spoiler helps?

I was told that modern cars have less than 2 litres of paint on the entire car these days with the paint technology they have..

apparently most of it is the clear coats... do you follow cars on dirt roads much?

Mines fine and i travel on quite a few dirt roads but if there is a car infront i make sure i leave atleast 50mtrs between us not worth the risk or a bullseye in the windscreen.

We've got fairly big chips all over the window but the front bar is OK. The stones into the window are just from trucks and 4wd's on the highway but I've been very impressed with how strong the window is, there have been some very very large stones it it, Some that I could clearly see incomming they were so big. Couple have hit the roof I think but I haven't noticed any big chips
