Hi Matt,
I have heard that the Master Cylinder in the AU T3-series is bigger than the standard XR8 - is this true? |

The answer pretty much is a yes as the series 3 was the last of the AU's and went to the larger stepped bore master cylinder. The PBR catalogue lists various size master cylinders for sedan, ute and wagons. Sedans 6cyl and V8 along with wagons and utes from 09/98 to 04/00 pretty much all had 22.22mm/28.57mm stepped bores but some utes had the 23.81mm/31.75mm set ups. AU sedans 6cyl and V8's and the wagon along with the ute from 04/00 to 09/02 have 25.40mm/31.75mm stepped bore m/cyls. The BA then went to the 23.83mm/31.75mm stepped bore master cylinder.

Are you referring to the 2.5 as the crack point on the proportioning valve? We do not have those figures available to us and it doesn't tell me what bore size the master cylinder is.

Hi Matt, I spoke to brake guy over here, and the upgrade he is referring to is retro-fitting of the bigger B and F series GT MC, that does not come with prop valve nut. Have you heard of this being done?
