Default Good looking Vehicles

Well after Most unreliable, and worts looking cars, might as well try for great looking ones. It is deffinatly interesting to see how peoples tastes vary.

Obviousley I'll start off with my fav looking cars.

One thing I've always like is the Sports falcon and commos in NSW Police guise.

Sucker for the last model monaro, older V2 model wasn't theat great, bit plain!

MA71 Supra

VL Calais (obviousley not original wheels)

New Focus XR5 (and generally the new focus all round is plesant to the eye.

More to come, but ince posted such ugly buses in the previous thread I suppose I best post a decent looking one. Shame about the Volvo Chassis and not Merc. These bodies are made by an Austraian owned company Called Volgren which is part of the Grendas bus group for all you Victorians.

Of course the TX5, but I'm biased

The Liberty GT and B4

The 300ZX

The Supra

Porsche 911 GT3

BMW M3

A lot of Jap I know, but thats my taste and I think we've seen a lot of pics of Aussie/Muscle cars on this forum.

There are 2000 models but they are few and far between. Once you are in one boosted to all hell, age is the last thing you think about lol. I would buy one except when something goes wrong they are hella expensive to fix, insurance is way too expensive, and they drink the juice like no tommorow on boost. Maybe when I have the money.

A more sensible list though;

Audi (Most of all the A3 FSi, S3, S4, RS4, S8)
Ford (Fiesta ST, Focus XR5T, XR8, Territory Turbo Ghia)
BMW (Z4M and 130i)
VW (R32, Golf GTI and the new Jetta)
Mazda... They've turned stylish all together, but especially the RX-8!
Honda (I hate them, but the Civic Sport is stylish, but weird at the same time. The Odyssey is certainly the trend setter of MPVs!)
Toyota - they have NOTHING
Lotus Exige 240R

the 7MGTE engine is as bad on headgaskets as early eseries.

With a 7M-GTE 3L and some boost you will almost always blow the head gasket (unless it's aftermarket) get some head studs and a HKS / decent aftermaket item and they are not to bad.

Or you could start with the1JZ 2.5L TT - which is about the 2nd best engine made (after the 2JZ) for power and afforadability. And it will not have reliability problems.

I reckon the EF/EL falcons are gorgeous, especially the Fairmont Ghia's, the EL XR's and the EL GT. The new mustang and Ford GT are pretty hot too. But nothing beats the XW/XY GT's for pure aggressiveness in the looks department.
