There's such thing as an EB SS, which was a rather worked 4.0, but no Sprint.

The EB SS was basically the fore runner for the EB XR6.
It was made to race, and is Particulaly rare.

The only XR6 (Sprint) ever released by ford was the VCT ST. Look at http://members.iinet.net.au/~bkolk/AU3XR6 and http://myweb.westnet.com.au/clonny/car

Thats my baby, a 2002 AU III XR6 VCT ST

I think the car in question was the model before Tickford had their name on the cars, when Ford badged them as XR6-S. And as far as I know, the S meant Sprint back then.

You mean they were badged as Falcon S XR6 and Falcon S XR8. The S meaning sports.
