Needed to fill up on the way home this evening so I checked Motormouth and the RACV webpage both reported the BP 2Go Tally Ho Highbury Rd & Blackburn Rd had a good price for LPG.
The Service Station is the process of being demolished it is all fenced off and not open for business. As I am typing this Motormouth reported an electronic feed 21 mins ago. |

An app is going to indicate the information that has been entered into it.
I've encountered the same situation, where a service station is indicating a price on LPG & in reality they don't have any at all. I use PetroSpy. |

The problem with some apps, such as PetrolSpy, is that they rely on input from the users to update the data and there is always a risk that the last update data is behind the actual advertised price.
On the other hand, I have found apps offered by the fuel company, eg Woolworths petrol, to be very accurate as the data is updated from the petrol station itself. The downside with this is that you need to have an app for every brand petrol station that you may visit. I tend to stick with Woolworths Petrol as I purchase e-gift cards with a 5% discount, use that to purchase my groceries, get a 4c per litre discount for fuel and then pay for my fuel using the e-gift card (which effectively provides me with another 5% discount).

If you're travelling through NSW use the Gov Fuel Check app. https://www.fuelcheck.nsw.gov.au/app
If the bowser price doesn't match the Fuel Check app price complaints can be made to NSW Fair Trading. I believe the QLD gov will have a similar system running before Christmas as well.

I use PetrolSpy, which relies on input from the users and shows what date the last user posted. So if it's more than a day or two old it may not be 100% accurate but it shows all stations within the map area so you get a general feel of what you are going to pay.

Lately I've only used the 711 fuel lock app. Find the cheapest price of fuel at a 711 store and lock it in, then you have 7 days to fill up at any 711 for that locked in price.
Currently have Premium 98 locked in at 137.7c/L |
