hi guys
been seeing a few Grand Prix number plates around melbourne lately. they seem to come in white background, blue letters & yellow F1 can and black background with white letters & F1 car. wondering if anyone knows anything about them. are they rare? how much are they? or any other info you might have on them thanks

VIC ROADS has them for close to $700 a pair in the black & white only, they were formerly white, with the yellow f1 car & blue lettering but have been changed to the black on white ones . still available if you're after them, was thinking of a pair myself but not too sure if i wanna pay that amount for a plate.

yeh that is fairly expensive, and i prefer the look of the older white background blue lettering and yellow F1 car
if anyone sees a set for sale or has any for sale please let me know, or if anyone knows any history about them, and what the average price for second hand ones are also let me know please thanks

A pair recently went on ebay for about 4500 to 500, this included 2 of the new style & 2 of the original style. all 4 were the same numbers however the original ones were damaged/faded & had been reprinted in the new style. these were quite cheep all things considered & i though of getting them however i have something else in mind.
