Good result for Ranger but incredible to think Toyota have 4 in the 10.

Toyota HiLux — 3339
Toyota Corolla — 3271
Hyundai i30 — 2669
Ford Ranger — 2597
Mazda 3 — 2582
Holden Commodore — 2243
Toyota Camry — 2141
Mazda CX-5 — 2037
Volkswagen Golf — 1733
Toyota RAV4 — 1685

297 Everests sold for the month. Very disappointing considering the large number of dealer demos registered and the drive away specials and $1000 bonus to enquirers on the website.

Too expensive is the common consensus.

Trend should be $59,990 drive away. Titanium should be $69,999 drive away.

The new camry is the best style/designed camry ever to date. I see them all over the place in Melbourne.

Not the worst looking car, but I think the i45 and Kia Optima were the originals to give that sculpted look.

Not surprised that the top selling cars are the ones I see advertised the most! And are generally a lot cheaper than the equivalent Ford product.

In sales, people might argue that if it comes down to price, they havent understood the real value of the product. Thing is, at this end of the market where most cars are just bought to get from A to B, price is a big factor.

We are keeping track of oil usage in all colorados we service. One today only had 1.4L of oil left in the sump. Holden are trying to find what engines may be affected and will be shipping out some replacement motors around NZ.

Funny you should say that, my mate has a 6 month old Colorado that has excessive oil consumption

May I ask why a Colorado? The manual thing is ok I guess if you're not towing heavy loads. But why a Colorado over say...a Ranger?

Even though they use the same engine(A 428 DOHC, made under license by GM in Thailand)that Jeep used in the Wrangler and Chrysler used in the Voyager.

Nice guess just lucky its not like its affecting everyone. However holden informed us via a bulletin. The worst one is a police vehicle today that had 45871 Km on it. Holden has said that it has found an issue with one of the plants. Holden have asked for a log book detailing oil consumption at intervals of every other week.

There are enough posts on the internet (Holden & 4x4 forums) about oil consumption issues with colorados.

Every manufacturer has its own issues, atleast holden are admitting it and doing something about it.

How long have Fortunas been at dealers? The Toyota dealer in our town only got theirs this week yet they sold 330 for the month?
