That's friggen massive!!!! We got some storms in Syd, some very heavy rain, but no hail in the city during the day. I saw the electrical storms late last night and raced out and covered up the Datto. Not having a garage sucks ****!

Ok the pics of my car dont really show the damage, but the bonnet, roof and boot are damaged, as well as the front windscreen. Maybe pics would be clearer when it dries up a little. All the cars in the street are badly damaged.

hehe, i had to drive to Pennant Hills this afternoon from Campbelltown, on the Cumberland Highway near Parramatta stuck in traffic we copped it. I saw one the size of a golf ball bounce off the tarp of the ute infront of me! Pretty scary driving as well, wipers were near useless as it was raining that hard. :S I haven't had a chance to check out the EF in sunlight, but doesn't seem to have any damage thankgod!

There was 1 spot in the garage for another car and it was either mine or hers, so I put hers in. Yes, its a Holden, but I'd rather my 86 Magna with all its problems go to waste rather than an original 75 LH Torana with 90,000 original k's on the clock get wasted. I just got the local paper, there are hailstones slightly bigger than the ones in the photos I showed. They look a bit bigger than a tennis ball. This is the biggest hail I have ever seen in my life. I tried saving my car but it was too late. I got pounded in the head and it hurt, and I had a blanket over my head at the time too! Im not too worried about my car, as it wasnt work anything to start off with. But Im still annoyed at the fact it happened. Everyone's cars on the street got ruined. The bloke 2 doors down got quoted $40,000 damage on his toyota avalon. Pics of my car now that its dry, pictures dont show the complete damage tho... |
