If you like these sorts of junk tv (i know i do), watch SBS tomorrow night at 7:30pm for a show called mythbusters.
However no buxom hostesses to be seen, just a couple of geeks. |

SBS Mythbusters NOW.
Classic Rocket powered chevy Impala. 3 x 3,000HP rockets on the roof, set off 1 after the other. =3,000HP for 12 seconds. They're using the cars hydraulic suspension to combat the down force created by setting the rockets off when it goes. They're to scared to drive it so they made the whole car remote control. All went well though & the helicopter used to keep the remote control within range had a top speed of 130mph and the car blew it away. Last edited by JADED6; 03-01-2005 at 08:37 PM. |

That was the best episode I've seen!
But the SBS voice over sucks, it's way better on Foxtel. |

I was waiting for him to drink some soda but he didn't...
I guess they settled the pop rocks & soda myth though. Nothing happened and it took a heap of bycarb soda & pepsi + more stomach acid to blow up the pig stomach but that was with closed off ends leading to the stomach. I doubt it would have ruptured if the gas had somewhere to go That was great where they were measuring the PSI in the pig stomach. |
