Should I be concerned? Just noticed this tubing dangling down under my diesel MD Mondeo titanium wagon.

Yes, whatever it is, it certainly did not come off the production line like that.
Get your dealer to look at it. I'd say a bracket has fallen off or it has come out of its fixing clip. |

I had something similar with my MB around the LH/R, I found it were the park brake cable; broken clip allowed it to drop. A cable tie saw to that.

All sorted. Dealer fixed it yesterday in about 30 minutes. No charge. Reckoned most likely cause was catching a branch as driving. Apparently is part of the dpf system.

I have had to replace a sensor due to impact with a roo carcass and also another trying to fix DPF errors so I have spent some time under there. The vaporiser lines are closer to the turbo and tucked right up. Looks more like a fuel return line or something. All is good if they have fixed it though.
