Wednesday night Race 4 Real off-street meets continue to be one of the most popular events on the Sydney Dragway calendar and it’s quite easy to see why!
Here are some great performances from last week’s Race 4 Real at Sydney Dragway. Top Holden of the Week We love when the classics come out to play, this HQ ute was not messing around when it came time to race, punching out consistant 11’s and a best pass of 11.307 @ 121.16 MPH. Top Ford of the Week Continuing on with the theme of Aussie muscle, top ford goes to this beautiful XW Falcon. With just the right amount of aggressive styling touches and plenty of muscle to back it up the XW finished up with a best pass of 11.501 @ 109.54. Top Japanese of the Week This week’s top Japanese went to this black WRX, the all-wheel drive launch and quick gearing had this hatch moving before you could say ‘Sydney Dragway’; Crossing the line with a 13.783 @ 106.09 MPH. Top Rotary of the Week Top rotor of the week went to this red RX7, a timeless body shape and cult classic the RX7 will continue to be a favourite in all forms of motorsport. This red rocket finished up its night with a 13.543 @ 110.61 MPH. Top European of the Week Taking a step back in time with top Euro this week, this BMW E30 coupe was packing some modern tech under the hood judging by the large intercooler up front. Putting down a very fast time of 12.762 @ 109.61 MPH. Commentators Pick of the Week Commentators pick of the week was this BA GT Falcon, presented beautifully in green and pushing its V8 heart to the limits with a 12.408 @ 117.73 MPH. Race 4 Real is on every Wednesday night at Sydney Dragway, weather permitting. Keep it safe, legal and off the streets! Gates open at 4:30PM and racing starts at 6:00PM. Check our website for T&C’s and entry information. Next Race4Real is this Wednesday October 21st 2015. See you there!
