I don't know where you can get them, but you don't need the whole rear bumper - it's just an extension to the normal bumper.

You can get them from Ford, from memory the skirts are about $300?

My first guess would be to ask ford service/spare parts if they stock it or if they can order one in. Another possibility could be to 'take' what ever you need from a wrecked focus (if you're lucky enough to find a zetec).

They charge you for paint booth hire, paint prep labour the paint itself the oven they use to bake the kit in. the hire of the oven. they basically charge you for everything little thing they can.

That sounds about right. The dealer will have a deal with a local painter, almost no dealer would have a dedicated paintshop, let alone want to pay for a decent painter to work for them. I think the best thing you can do is go and talk to some painters, get the best quote from someone reasonable that you can trust, buy the parts, get the painter to fit and paint them. Fitting is extremely straightforward, there's nothing complicated about it, I'd almost assure you that it was a matter of a few screws or possibly some clips, I'd be very surprised if there was any cutting or bonding to be done...

yeah that is what i thought i would end up doing, someone is just trying to get a little extra cash in the pocket i think.
The only hard part is finding someone you trust to do the work, at least if you do it through the dealer you have someone to get onto if you get a bad job. |

Likewise the panel beater though...if they stuff it up, take it back and start demanding...the bigger the establishment, the less likely they will be to want the fuss (usually)
