OMFG. Changed my mind, I don't want an RS Focus, I want this. Major changes are about to take shape in my spending habits, lockdown from this moment. That looks sensational...

You'd take this over the RS? Id take an ST170 over the new focus. The styling on this leaves a lt to be desired. Color is terrible and what is with that front bar. Interior however looks fantastic.

I, personally, love it. Only because it means that the market will get flooded with the earlier XR5's, making them cheap cheap

i on the other hand think its an abomination.......
the front end looks like grab from an astin martin, the rear comprises of a deformed love child froma fiesta and the new gen mazda 3, the exhaust pipe reminds me of a mid life crisis porsche and the interiour looks like they mashed a WS fiesta and a new mondeo together. All i see is it is just a throw together of what ford already have available to them rather than a proper re-design.......ohhh and the color.....reminds me of what my stomach looks like when i take tamiflu! i think when they release the car at the show it will look alot better. Digital representations are never the same.

I really wished they kept the edges/lines, the somewhat squarish look, of the backend of the RS.. that what made this car unique and sexy.. Now its another Toyota corolla.. no lines or edges that define it.. I wish they made the RS there base model for future designs.. Love the frame of that car to bits.

I still am having trouble with the complexity of the car. All those shapes and lines.
No doubt its an awesome machine, and a step up again. I have a concern with the lack of bumper though! In the real world we do tap or get tapped by things and other cars. Looks like they are expecting that honey comb grille to do all the work? I guess they'll throw in bull bars eventually....

I'll reserve judgement until I see it in the flesh. I said much the same about the LS when it was released yet it come to buying a car, which one did I love the most?

The pics in the link above aren't final production versions from what I've read, but an early preview version. Lets hope at least the nose changes, not a huge fan. I found the below online, the design seems more like the direction Ford are taking, although its an earlier article...http://www.carsuk.net/new-ford-focus-st-2011-at-paris/
