Default EF and EL alternators

I keep getting contradicting answers on this topic,

EF alternators are definitely 110 amp.
Do they come as a bosch unit only or mistubishi too?

What amp are the EL alternators?
are they 110 also?

cheers

difference being that the EF is coil pack, which has been suggested to me as a reason it would have a bigger alternator.

Obviously coil draws more power.

As far as I know EL alternators aren't as big as EF ones, as for the actual size I'm not sure.

EA-ED = 85 (im assuming)
EF = 110
EL = 85
AU = 110

I have an EL Fairmont with single coil pack and 100amp Alternator. The manual said 100amp is standard across the range ie V8 & inline 6.

Thats incorrect. Your EL isn't a coil pack, for starters, it's a distributor.

The EF alternator is 110amp, EL is 85, and AU went back to 110.

My EL has one Ignition coil pack, unlike the EF 6cyl has 6 seperate coils for each cyl. And it has a 100amp alternator, want me to take a photo of it...

Sorry, yes, it has one coil that attaches to the distributor.

Ok, the EL alternators were 100amp, while the EF were 110.

BA are 110 for the record as well.

you can match the front of the EL to the rear of a BA alternator and have a brand new 110amp alternator as the ef/el are no longer made.

My EL alternator was 100amp mitsubishi, and the BA ones are mitsubishi to.

I enquired about 2 months ago, and no way to get them, not from bosch at least.
