Will we need to put our names down on this forum too or will the other thread on FF still apply?

Just a question how many cars were at the E series day and how many are coming to this one? Will we fit everybody in? We were a bit strapped for time last time round weren't we?

I will be checking both forums for the numbers.

Hopefully at this dyno day there will be no interuptions like the last one.
Therefore we should be able to fit everyone in.

Also Wayne and I will endeavour to run it very smoothly and efficiently so we can fit everyone in, in a reasonable amount of time.

there IS NO aufalcon.com area on the other site now so the list above is the list that will be used for the aufalcon.com part of the dyno day. I think most on it have already moved accross here anyhow.

Hello everyone the sun is up and what a lovely day it is.

My friend who works at ford has offerd to come along with his test equipment and run diagnosis checks on cars if people want it. You'd have to chuck him 5 or 10 bucks or something. A few of the club members have met him from an meet we has at inverleigh once and he's helped out a few members with car problems the last one being danny with his ef. He also carries some sensors that commonly fail from his racing days which he said he would sell on for the cost he bought them for which is employee price around 40-50% retail price.

If anyone is interested give us a holler he can test EA - AU cars. The BA equipment is pretty exspensive apparently

This sounds good, however This can only happen out the front and will not be part of the dyno day.
It will be a very busy day for us ( the organisers)
We will be busy organising the order for the cars.

On that note Wayne LTDHO will be organising the order for the cars, please make yourself known to him and follow his instructions.

Thanks
Paul

Agreed, it is a great service but, due to the huge amount of cars, will need to be done without disrupting the dyno runs.
Still, it will be handy for those that need it.

Its not really encouraged as there will be a heap of people but a few spectators is ok...you will need to ask V8capri or LTDHO.

Why not just run your car?

who cares what the figure is, its not a competition really. It is useful if your thinking of modding later, good for a baseline.

The dyno guys do the run, the owner gets to stand with everyone else and pray the line goes that little bit higher.

This is true, there will be heaps of people there. Obviously we can't turn members away from coming, after all it is a club meet. But as Casper said, enter your car. Have you had it on the rollers before? Could be worth it to get your graph and you'll know where peak power and torque is.

Also Madwob, the dyno run is not that stressful on the car. The operators monitor the run closely and, if theres even the slightest doubt, will abort the run.
I had an issue with a lean out on one run as the chiptorque chip went in and the run was aborted rather than risk the car. The issue was found and fix and all was good.

The dyno runs are great fun, great for info and also can pick up any issues with the car before they become big enough to leave you on the side of the road with a hefty repair bill.

Just do it.

Do the exhaust AFTER Michael. Then when you do it you can have a look at the improvements.

My sister has a blue one. :

They have their benefits. My mini sticks to the road like glue. But I still cant wait to drop a hayabusa engine into the boot and convert it to rear wheel drive!! :
