As per the title, what is the difference in factory brakes between GT and GTP?
Is it just front calipers, rear calipers and rear rotors? Is everything else the same (lines, booster, master cylinder etc)? |

Further to my last, would you quote me (by PM if appropriate) for 6 piston front and 4 piston rear brembos, DBA T3 rotors, Ferodo pads, whatever fluid you would recommend, braided lines and anything else you think I need to make my car GTP configured but better.
Thanks |

I think you're on the money with the differences Shonky. I don't think there is anything else.
What's your reason to upgrade and go for the 6 piston? Benny.

Just want to price it at this stage.
Figure if I'm going to do rotors, pads, lines and fluid then the marginal increase with going up to 6+4 may make it viable, especially if I can get a few dollars for my 4+1 gear. I have asked for Ferodos and DBAs based in part on your recommendation. Did you consider/price it? (6+4 that is) |

Yeah I sure did but thought for what I'm going to use the car for, spirited street use, then upgraded pads, fluid and rotors was going to be enough. I'd love to have the Harrop Ultimate brake kit or even the more capable 6+4 set up but couldn't bring myself to part with the cash. I'm really happy with the setup I have now. Ferodo DS2500's are awesome.
Benny.

Yeah, there's a member on here with harrops on his white F6....porn!
I'm thinking if I can get my original disks machined I may be able to get $1500 or so for the stock gear to offset the bigger brembos. I see the 6pot fronts with rotors were around $2k, but prob more for the nice dba rotors. See what old mate says on price. Do you know if you can take a few cuts off the factory rotor faces and stay within tolerance if they aren't too badly beaten up? |

As long as the rotors are within the correct thickness and don't go under that after machining it is possible. The 355mm front rotors are 32mm std and min is 30mm
