This is what I used to supply lighting to the footwells.
$(KGrHqYOKigE12l8GQU-BNrQ9z4s!g~~_12.jpg $(KGrHqYOKiYE2qmM30IjBNrQ91fYug~~_12.jpg Simply plug into the sockets provided by ford, remove the double sided tape and attach. Takes about 5 minutes and $10.

Is this lighting anything at all like the so called 'submarine lighting' on the MC titanium?

I think the submarine lighting in the Titanium is what you would call mood lighting. The leds in the Titanium are located either side of the front interior light and shine down onto the front console area only.
When I first tried this I purchased just single red led lights but the output was not enough, but with these SMD LED arrays they pump out heaps of light. From the company I purchased these from you can get other colours that include red of course, blue, pink, purple, white and green. I think for one it is nice to have footwell lights and two, having the lighting in a choice of colour adds a point if difference to the car.

Hi there
So you just remove the normal bulb in the footwell lighting that comes with the car and connect these? They dont register some sort of fault with the fuse system and just work no problems? Thanks Steve |

Thats right . Just plug in, stick on and your away. The only concern is polarity so when you connect and they don't work just unplug, turn 180 degrees and re-plug.
Cheers

I have followed suit but also replaced the bulbs in the overhead lights with LED panels. Reading lamps are still white.
It was a bit tricky to install the LEDs inside the light unit, but only took around 10mins. The interior now goes blue when the doors are opened or I unlock the car. The blue reflects off the piano black as well. SWMBO also has similar in her JCW Cooper

Cool! I want to do this as well in my foot wells. I would love to use Blue though.
Question... what I would like to try is actually fit the LED's underneath the car, all the way around. Pure Ice White though... what you guys reckon?
