This happened 200m away from my house!

Wondered what all the sirens were, then a mate came down to show me his photo's. Had a gander an hour later but most was all cleaned up!

What I want to know is where were the police? This dork of an of duty cop followed him apparently for quite some time. Why did he not call pursuit cars in to stop this maniac before he wrote off a swag of vehicles and seriously endangered peoples lives? And you know why it is - because this knob of a cop just wanted to follow the idiot driver for as long as possible in order to fine the dick head for as much as possible - police are more interested in handing out massive traffic fines than they are in saving lives and protecting the public.

Talk about the ambulance at the bottom of the hill.

Ok, let's start a high speed chase in order to prevent endangering people's lives.....good idea.

Sending out pursuit cars is not necessarily going to end in a high speed chase. Maybe if there were police cars around with their lights and sirens going, the idiot would have pulled over. If he refused to pull over the police don't have to chase him. Don't know about you people, but I prefer prevention over punishment.
