Default Absolutely, Worst Movie EVER

I watched, what I thought, was the worst movie ever.
1 & a half hours of my life that I will never get back.
The Movie, well its called "The cars that ate Paris"
Set in a little town, Sofala.

Yeah I know it. it's a really early Peter Weir movie. Made in early 70's on very small budget. Think it's regarded as a bit of a cult classic these days. Thankfully Peter moved on from here.

ooohhhh this could be fun- I think it makes it better when it's not supposed to be or has no excuse for being bad. For example Hollywood movies with big stars that suck is probably better.

Last man standing with Bruce Willis OMG

Donnie Darko man that was crap

The Forgotten with Julianne Moore- WTF

Of course there are movies that never stood a chance with no stars and low budgets- understandably they's be crap....

Just some that I can think of right now

I have watched Donnie Darko at least 7 times and see more in it everytime. It is not set in a linear timeline, so it can be confusing. Why is it when some people watch a movie that requires some thinking, their brains shut down.

Last Man Standing is one of my favourite Bruce Willis movies, great gun battles and story.

The Forgotten was okay, but would only watch it once.

I would love to see The Cars That Ate Paris again, I barely remember it, but I love Peter Weir's films like the great Witness and Picnic at hanging rock. One of the best Aussie directors ever.

Duel was Steven Spielberg's first films and was written by Richard Matheson, who wrote for the Twilight Zone and The Night Stalker, also wrote "Trilogy of terror". Great suspense and action.

Army of Darkness is a cult classic, "give me some sugar baby", seen it about 15 times.

One of the worst I have seen in a long time wasThe Pink Pather (with Steve Martin). He just isn't funny anymore.

Possibly the thing I hate the most about talking, discussing movies ect is when people state that you are basically an idiot if you did not like a movie they enjoyed. That's great that you liked Donnie Darko, buy it and watch it as much as you like but don't be a dick and assume that those who didn't like it, did because they aren't as intellegent as you. :

Sorry but I personally thought it was rubbish and i'm not the only one. A shocker I wish i'd never watched was 'The Village'.

Just thought of another couple

Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow with Angelina Jolie

The Net with Sandra Bullock

It's so hard to pick one with so many contenders

EDIT

My wife thinks Evil dead 3: Army of Darkness is the worst movie ever.

Granted it's not Oscar winning stuff but isn't it funny that BAD movies become cult movies? I piiss myself laughing every time I watch it

I would be one that says Evil Dead 3 rocks... Granted the humour is on the basis of pure stupidity, but for a good laugh with no meaning to it what-so-ever, put it in the dvd player, crack open a coldie and sit back...

As far as worst movies ever, my ex happened to bring one of her favourites over for a movie night which was called "The Date Movie" with Alyson Hannigan (Alyson should have stuck to re-runs of buffie or the american pie movies) - then the ex topped it off by making me endure yet another one from the pits of the dung heap, Bird Cage. And she wonders why she's an ex... :

Duel is a classic, You need to re watch it.

The Postman - What the hell was Costner thinking, total crap.
Waterworld - More Costner "brilliance"

Munich - Spielberg really lost the plot on this one, one of the most boring movies ever.

I'm just guessing here, but I have a feeling it was a bit of a ****take on the B horror movie. Compare it to the first two, and you'll see why.

Man ED3 was an absolute crack up!! I remember there was a ****load of arguments & "let downs" from people when that came out. But, the thing is Sam Raimi already was already heading in that direction with ED2.
Bruce Campbell has to be one of my favourite actors of all time, he will never win any awards, but he makes me laugh anyday of the week. Brisco County Jr anyone?
My fiancee also hates ED3 especially the part in the movie when he is being pampered by all those lovely servants, then just before he has his way with them he stops chomping on that enormous chicken drumstick and says..."Gimme some sugar babe"!!!!! (legendary stuff)

jimt3te50 honestly, are you sure someone's not putting the wrong DVD into the wrong case? You're listing some pretty decent movies here!

Donnie Darko? It's one of the best movies I've seen, possibly THE BEST!
The Net? Sandra Bullock was great eye candy back then!

If we're going for "Worst Movie" title, I think [insert any Vin Diesel movie title here] would certainly make the shortlist.

That was DUEL. Actually quite liked it. Directed by Spielburg himself.

Donnie Darko was pretty good me thinks.

Oh man, you're not thinking of Duel (early Steven Spielberg film)with Dennis Quaid and the monster Peterbilt Truck??? I don't think it's too bad.

WORST MOVIE EVER MADE:- YENTL with Barbara Streisand. Without doubt. Badly stubbing your toe is more enjoyable.

YOU ARE FRIGGIN' KIDDING AREN'T YOU??!!

There was plenty of dialogue in that. Just stick to transparent Teen flicks, like the incredibly well made and rivetting 'American Pie' films, if that's what you prefer
