Coyote owners,
Companies Yella Terra and Bluepower Racing Developments have combined in a project to create some exciting new options for the Coyote 5.0. An already impressive vehicle from FPV, with the new lineup of product nearly availible and on the drawing boards, Coyote owners have much to smile about. The First product, and the one that we have been testing for some time now is the new all billet front cover and snout for the existing head unit. The existing blower is a baby one by anyone's standards, but has a big limitation in that to raise boost, pulleys need to be pressed off and on the factory unit, and in some cases, the OE pulley CANNOT be re installed due to the fact that presses and pullers need to be employed during the upgrading process, which can cause damage to pulleys that are expensive and difficult to obtain. Further to this, upgrading the coyote's boost with current offerings also means the fitment of an overdrive balancer, whereas the Yella Terra unit does not require one. An overdrive pulley whilst effective in boost, will put more load on an engine and also run the ac compressor and Power Steering pump faster. Power steering pump failures are a known problem with these Coyote's, and the Yella Terra Billet snout is a great way to boost with confidence. The Yella Terra Snout needs only basic workshop tools such as allen keys and a tube of RTV compound, and is 100% able to be returned to stock. Simply put your old front cover in a box, and it stays there until the day you sell or trade. Other advantages of this is that pulleys can be easily changed whilst the blower is in situ, from stock boost right up to 16psi, which is really nearly all over bar the shouting for the baby pump. So if its friday night madness, sunday afternoon romance or monday morning commuting, the Coyote owner has a plethora of options not previously offered, with the quality we expect from Yella Terra. We would like to thank Yella Terra for entrusting us with the responsibility of performing their testing, and look forward to some further testing, perhaps even at the track. I will be on display on the Bluepower GS at the All Ford day this weekend at Geelong.

some see more some see less, kinda like how longs a piece of string to be honest.
but over 350kw @ the wheels is kind of a given to say the least, if not may have some underlying issues |
