I take it that English is not one of your strong subjects? That would be "Nervous".

Sorry mate, Ive had a long day. English is one of my mid range subjects. These days you don't lose marks for spelling mistakes. I believe in the past you did.

Yep, in 1988 we certainly did. Given it is the English language subject I figured it would be reasonable to assume it was still important. Ahh, to do VCE again, what fun it would be. :

(Seriously, 6 hours a day, no major deadlines that couldn’t be met and no clients b!tching and crying because you failed to deliver a miracle you said was impossible 2 months prior. Then go to the Gold Coast and get hammered for 2 weeks... give me that any day!)

Anyhow, good luck with it, its important at this time for your future. Just don’t sweat it too much because in 10 years it will be about as important to you as SBS is to TV entertainment.

Yes I cannot believe what kids get away with in English and other subjects these days to pass year 12. Not getting marked down for spelling mistakes in English, you have got to be kidding.

What about grammar corrections?

Crazy.

A cousin of mine just got her results today, 95.9 so that is amazing. Makes all the choices that much easier. Hopefully she does something she enjoys.

But don't forget, if you get 95 and get into your course with other people that got 75 for example, it all means zip on day 1 of uni/tafe. You are all in the same course, doing the same subjects and you are all on the bottom rung starting again.
