today i was out looking for a new/used car.
anyway i came a cross a 1998 EL XR6. MakeFORD... ModelFALCON.... Series EL XR6...Year1998.... ColourBLUE. Body type Sedan.. Transmission Auto...kms209,891  its is $10,000.is that a good price for what the car is. Alloy Wheels,6 Speaker Stereo,ABS (Antilock Brakes),Adjustable Steering Col. - Tilt & Reach,Air Conditioning,Airbag - Drivers,Body Colour - Bumpers,Central Locking - Remote/Keyless,Disc Brakes Front Ventilated,Disc Brakes Rear Solid,Engine Immobiliser,Leather Steering Wheel,Limited Slip Diff,Power Door Mirrors,Power Steering,Power Windows - Front only,Radio Cassette,Remote Boot/Hatch Release,Remote Fuel Lid Release,Spoilers - Front and Rear,Sports Seats - 1st Row (Front),Suspension - Sports,Tacho should i buy . any help would be nice.thanks luke

around geelong in dealerships there is at least 3 or 4 i know of that are all 10-11 grand so it sounds about right

if it were manual then yea id say good buy, but its an auto, offer him 8 and see what he says.

haha non smoker. Luke looks like a nice car, you could probably find one cheaper through a private sale. You should get a manual too :P, XR6's should not come with automatic transmissions.

10K. Six stacker CD player. Manual. 160,000kms. 149.2rwkw. Cruise. 16's. Full body kit. Fully serviced and maintained. New tyres. 10 months reg. Neat as a pin. Looks good and goes bloody awesome! PM me if your interested and I will e-mail you pics. For some reason, it wont let me upload pics. |

well i came across an el xr6 factory manual 4 8k and it had 150.000km on the clock so i say ur getting over priced

It's about the right price for a dealer, I checked out two today at car city they were both red and they both had a tickford kit, and they were both 11K - 12K one had a sunroof and 120,000kms (12K) and the other had more kays and was in worse condition (11k) Both auto too BTW.
Go to car city and spend the extra 2K and get 80,000 less kms a sunroof and a tickford kit. I'm personally gonna wait till a good one pops up for private sale.
