My list of Falcons, in chronological order:
'75 XB GS Sedan, 302 Auto, Frosted Lime, Beige vinyl roof, parchment trim '77 XC Fairmont Sedan, 302 Auto, Sno White, Black vinyl roof, doeskin houndstooth cloth trim. '72 XA GT Sedan, 351 4spd, Polar White, parchment trim. '73 XA GS Sedan, 250 4spd, Yellow Fire, saddle trim. '73 XB Falcon 500 Sedan, 351 4spd, Walnut Glow, parchment trim. '76 XB Fairmont Sedan, 250 4spd, Tropic Gold, parchment trim. '71 XY Fairmont GS, 351 Auto, Bronze Wine, saddle trim. '88 EA Fairmont Ghia, 3.9L Auto, White, blue trim '94 ED Fairmont Ghia, 4.0L Auto, Polynesian Green, grey trim. '98 AU XR6, 4.0L Auto, Galaxy Blue, charcoal trim. '03 BA XR6, 4.0L Auto, Mercury Silver, charcoal trim. '77 XC Fairmont Coupe, 351 4spd, Graphite Grey, doeskin cloth houndstooth trim. There ya go, a memorable dozen (although there's a couple I wish I'd never laid eyes on). Whether I buy another Falcon or not who knows but in 36 years of driving only 2 or 3 we're Ford-less........and I have NEVER owned a Holden.

Not as extensive as Commodores I've owned, but I can list FC, AU2, BA2, and the FG that I still have.
Alson had a few short-term company cars between EF & AU that were assigned to me, which were all good cars. |

A few but really not many
In no particular order: XB GS Coupe XB GT Sedan EL XR8 BF GT XB GS ute XB ute x2 XA Futura sedan XB GS Fairmont sedan XB Fairmont wagon That's all I can think of at the moment. There was also a wrecked XA Coupe back in the 90's I bought for spares. Non Falcons include TE Cortina S Pac 250 manual, Mk 2 GT Cortina, TE Cortina Station Wagon...I think that covers all my Fords. Only Non Fords are a 40 series Landcruiser and H3 Hummer

EB GLi Sedan
AU Forte Sedan BA XR6 ute FG2 XR6 Sedan FG2 FPV GT I love the FG & have no intention of ever letting the GT go (it took me 20 years to get one) but when I look at my list (short, yeah I know) the EB is the one I wish I still had. It was my first Falcon was really the first car I had that opened up the world to me. There are so many memories with that car & it was a dead stock base model that I borrowed too much to buy, but I'm sure glad I did. |
