yeah just for a change im messing around with cortinas. anyway the particular one im working on seems to have never had a passenger side door lock and the drivers side only locks from the outside with the key. the passenger side inner handle will go down to the point where it feels as though it has locked but hasnt, to put it loosely in lingo. when you pull the handle up the door opens, when you push the handle down it clicks but doesnt do anything but click? ive had the door card off and looked inside the door and i just cant see how it ever locked...,..... so anyone that can help...

You can lock the keys in if you get tired of always having to use the key to lock the door after you exit if you cheat a relock the door just after you unlock and open the door to get into the car. Luck I did this stupid act at home and could access the spare key easily.
