Hi all.
I need to get some new bushes for the rear swaybar for the mk 2 Essy. I've been told by Pedders that they don't stock them, and that they're hard to find (Read: they couldn't be stuffed finding it.) Unfortunately, I can't get it registered until it's done. Does anyone know where these can be found/ bought? |

If you insist on putting it back on give Yesterford a call on (03) 9761 4714. They do mail order and $70-80 (according to my price list) should sort you out. |

Thanks for the help, Whooligan. I've given them a call, and now just need to determine if it's the 12 or 14mm bar before ordering.
You've saved me a world of hurt, after a half- dozen phone calls to local suspension specialists no- one knew what the hell I was talking about. Incidentally, it's not just the sway bar that got pulled up on Blue Slip inspection (changing it from NSW to QLD rego.) It's just something that needs to be fixed before I take it back for the second inspection. Also got pulled up on: worn LH rear tyre, leaking diff pinion seal, reverse lights not working, driver's side winder knob broken, worn wiper blades, worn front brake flex lines, oil leak at the gearbox, loose battery, and rear window tint peeling off. As you can see, its mostly housekeeping issues, but after pulling apart the wiring last weekend I waved the white flag and will have to get someone who knows what they're doing to have a look. I managed to get them working, it's just that they don't switch off when I take it out of reverse (hence my reverse light switch location post a week or so back.) ahh, the joys of owning an older car! |

Got them all through a local firm Gibbo's auto parts in Lismore (thanks Jeff) all in a day or two if they wern't in stock as are most of the other parts i have needed
