I've recently done mine. Still needs some fine tuning but firstly wanted to see if the light would shine through.

If anyone wants the photoshop files, let me know. I also still have the original full size scans if anyone wants them for their own designs. I just used 110GSM colour laser paper using original light globes.

This might be the one you've seen?

Yeh, still not finished. Wanting to add a buckskin tan colour to gearstick, headunit & clock surrounds, as well as on the door trims.

Baya:

I didn't do that EF dash. They're just made by printing your design onto photo paper with a colour laser printer. Pretty simple really. Mine looks nowhere near as good at night as i think the aftermarket white LED's would make a huge difference.

I just bought a White Face Gauge off eBay and just realised what the difference is to the one you print out on paper from the Fordmods Site.

The White Back Ground on the eBay version is a plastic sheet and where the light shines through for the Speedo, Tacho, Oil Pressure, Volts etc or any bit that is supposed to light up at night, the sections have been cut out and then a red/blue/yellow etc or what ever colour you want type of contact has been applied.

Thus you white std dash will shine bright any colour you want.

You can even have different colours, have a red tacho and a blue speedo or whatever.

Well this is the way the one I just bought of eBay is made - I will try and get photos up to show

So a standard yellow lit dials can be changed?

If so, mmm time for some black with blue or red dials!

Basically YES but if you DYI with the print out off Fordmods on just paper the paper will light up

Where as if you buy one for eBay the Dash Facia is Plastic with cut outs where the light has to shine through, then what ever colour you want to shine through is a coloured contact material of some sort.

I changed my Std White Globes for Some Red Leds as my car is red and i wanted a red dash but the dash is really dull at night.

Now with this eBay one I can use white leds and the dash dials on symbols will light up red as that is what colour the contact material is

I am actually going to change the warning lights to Blue Contact so when they are lite they will shine blue.

I just converted mine with inverted blue leds.
For $12 for 10 it was probably worth it, but its not as full as the std ones. Its duller between 1500-2500rpm on the tach. Bit annoying.

Dont use inverted LEDs. Standard/bullet LEDs should be better.

Sorry if i missed the answer to this question, but is it possible to do the blue lights install without changing to a white background on a standard ea-d dash? I seen the digital blue dash install but none tacho and fuel/temp still looked the same.
