Nothing illegal about them at all. If BMW can get away with it why not everyone else. They feature on the old 5 series. Although the ones on BMW are not aftermarket fit-ons. BMW calls them optic-rings. They serve no function other than useless cosmetic.

Those eyelids give the new focus a tough look i think, more sharp like the LR focus...

Yeah you have to pull your head lights apart to fit them, and they are stuck on with 3m tape. From what ive heard about these kind of things on other cars they fall off from normal driving, and heat. And if you dont seal the headlight up properly, as in air tight, it can fill up with water or condensation. Not worth the $100+

I used a glue gun to attach mine and Ive had no problems with em

Its not rocket science, just take your time and get it right, I also think they look good in the day when they aint switched on

the only thing I will say is there not as bright as your normal side lights, and there a lot more blue than they look in the picture

I've read about how to do your own angel eyes (theres a guide on the net). Have a search before you go and buy these.

I like the eyebrows as well. I'll have a go making some next week and if its a sucess I'll sell them on here.

Wonder if you can stick some black brush bristles along the eyelids to give the Focus some eye lashes.

Sorry about the delay getting back but I havent got a pc since Ive been out here

They have been in for about a year now, I got the rings from Ebay they worked out about $35 for a set which contains a pair of small and large rings, bit of a pain in the ИИИИ cos the big rings did'nt fit so I had to buy another set,

I had no problems with pulling the headlights apart, I just took my time over it, the only problem I had is with the mk1/2 Mondeo's you have to undo the aircon rad and shift it over so you can take the bumper off to get the headlights off, and with my car having 3 and half inch ground clearance I couldnt get it up ramps and I did'nt know anyone with a pit, so I had to use a combonation of a scissor jack on to a trolley jack then onto axle stands and was probably more effort than it was worth, but I could'nt afford the twin headlight kit

Looks good though :
