Default Small problem with my corty need road worthy tomorrow

Just put a new air filter on my cortina i bought on saturday.

Any way it's due for a road worthy tomorrow i went to crank it over before a spark came from the battery and now it won't crank. the brake fail life just comes on when i turn it to start.

The interior light still works but it won't crank.


Any help much appriciated.

long shot: but, have you checked the reversing light connection to the gearbox?

Yeah that looks fine.

My first thoughts was it could be a faulty seat belt but it turned out to be the terminals.
