Default Is FPV moving or down sizing?

While looking at commercial properties for sale around Campbellfield I came across this Ad for 33 Glenbarry Rd Campbellfield which seams to be FPV offices/assembly line so does anyone know anything, are they moving, down sizing or worse?

No they are staying, they just lease it. The rightful owner is selling, could be Prodrive or Ford who knows.

Yep its not like the old days when it would be full of XR6 / XR8 & T Series. Once upon a time you could not move in that yard there were that many cars, even when FPV started, now however they are lucky to have 20 - 25 at a time.

I am suprised they bother keeping FPV, seems like a big waste to me perhaps they could sell us cars a bit cheaper if they ditched it and fitted wheels / bumpers on the main Ford line like the rest of the range.

Yes but alot of dealers order stock for the yard etc... If you don't have it in stock its hard to sell it.

So FPV are still building stock for dealers, just not themselves to have sitting in Melbourne.

Also heard that FPV are doing some work in Asia Pacific aswell, much like Ford does for the region.

Yes... More like an annual stocktake!! A new coyote motor would fit snug in my 5.4 GT.

Sorry but I always smell a rat when someone new on here posts information that's potentially destabilizing...Owners have been doing sale and leasebacks since time began, usually to free up capital for new growth opportunites so even if Prodrive or Ford own it so what ??? and if its just a regular investor that owns it, who cares...my 2 cents.

FPV must be struggling to clear 2011 plates.. They are still running TV adds for 2011 plates when Ford ones stop ages ago.

if they are no longer using the old system of building cars willy nilly till there`s paddocks of cars waiting to be sold, then perhaps it`s just wasted space, why pay rental on something that`s not getting used? seems like good sense if that's the case.

They are not leaving the yard... They still have a lease on it.... More so the owner of the property is selling it.... Really has no bearing on what FPV are doing but I am surprised they need so much space these days.
