Hi Chris, Theo and Ryan,
I forgot to mention this to you Theo when I was on the phone to you this morning when I booked in the "new" GT-P for a performance service. When she is sitting at idle, the revs have for some reason decided that 1500-1700 RPM is a good place to sit. Also when you start her up, every now and then she will start, then after a couple of seconds begin to shake and cough like she has dropped a couple of cylinders and the "check engine light" comes on. If you try to rev her when she is doing this, there is no reaction. She won't rev. You turn her off and restart her and she is OK. There is no dramas once she has restarted with driving. No lack of power and she doesn't play up apart from the revs sitting high. Any idea what this might be?? Cheers, Greg.

I was outside cleaning the engine bay before and I noticed that vacuum hose had pulled out of the elbow going onto the PCV valve. I pushed it back in and now she is starting OK and the revs are sitting back at around 750 RPM at idle. Could this have been the problem do you think??
Cheers, Greg.

Yes mate ... it sounds like a vacum leak issue.. just remind me when you drop the new beast off and we will sort it out for you ...
Congrats on another GT to the stable
