yeah mate ill be there. Havnt got a real fast car to take but thinkin of entering my bone stock EB XR8 just for a laugh.

it dont matter as long as u have fun i got a mate putting hif xf 4ltr in an its stock . its our 1st drags ever so how will i know what eb is yours

Geese lee (Tregs) hope i can go see that beast race over the weekend. I'm sure you'll have a good as run anyways. if i dont end up going, tell me how ya go. how many ppl will you be taking up on Saturday? ill see if i can get the old girl to take me up. yea the last time the Casterton drags were on was about two years ago around this time. It was just delayed because it didn't reach standards for insurance or something stupid like that. but fair enough tho.

well that was a day day for me i only got 8.4 down the strip an i heard somethin go bang not i got a tickin noise from the motor

8.4 is a good run ... thats a low 14 pass .... good job

What was the track cut off , some where from 6 or 5 ?

What was the start line like ... preped good ?

8.4 on the 1/8th mile is a shite load faster than a low 14

, more like a vERY low 13, the track wasn't making much grip either so that's a great time

Congrats to Tregs For his first run ever of 8.4, Shame ya engine went bang.. xagsjoe i remember i took a video of your car :P Thought it was a nice looking xr8, didnt know you were on the forums!

Yeah (lee) Tregs had a bad start on that run and had to back off half way due to the whole 'bang' and all. But went good on the others. Found out what was wrong with it yet?

Yeah mate gettin in and havin a go is what its all about. Cheers bout the car but I doubt the video got any sound outa the bone stock engine! My god its quiet and slow compared to the XW ute I raced last time.

The car ran 10.83@66.4 1st lap then 11.06 same speed 2nd run then 11.24 last run in practice. The bye due too tregs misfortune (Hope you get her goin shortly mate) ran 10.83 on a 10.8 dial in and Broke out on the next run at 10.67 on a 10.85 dial in.

Dunno what made it so much quicker on the last run but that was on the brakes also but either way I had a blast.

Dunno bout the kids bluing during the burnout comp though. Almost ruined A great day.

Yeah yeah they did have a small blue actually! Yeah i have seen them alot around town, suprised they went so bad in the burnout comp, they seem to have enough practice round town

Yeah i figured it was pretty stock! Couldnt hear a thing!
But that can always be fixed!

I would of loved to go in it but the whole 'minimum age 18 thing' and im only 17... But yes hopefully next year i will have a shot! (if its on...)

Well not really blew, there is a strange ticking noise that he heard after he came back into the pits from the engine straight after it went bang, we dont really know what it is until he looks at it. But he didnt really want to risk running it again.. Hope its nothing bad :S

not sure i heard a loud bang goin down the strip so i backed off an when i got to the pits there was a loud ticking noise

What sort of motor / car and what mods do you have done .
10.5 is a great time ... AND you backed off 1/2 track.

What where you hoping to run ?
