Hi all.
Does anyone know the law regarding the parcel light, with a rear spoiler. If you have a spoiler with lights in it, do you need to have an active parcel shelf light for registration? Cheers

Almost as annoying as a rear fog lamp switched on unnecessarily. Obviously the required brightness is doubled with two lamps, so would be illegal.
ADR 60/00 specifies that there should be only one centre high mounted stop lamp. This would be applicable in all states of Australia. |

I've seen cars with both. Doesn't look good to me.
Usually the globe is removed when a spoiler (with light) is fitted.

Sorry for the double post.
I just took a car in for a RWC. One item that failed was the center brake light. Had to disconnect the one furthest from the back (as in the one in the window) As it is a high series the brake light was in the top of the window and wasn't blocked by the spoiler, but had to disconnect it anyway.
