Is this a common problem
are there any adjustments possible to remedy this will check the engine mounts symptom as soon as it is put in fifth it gets stuck fast and hard every other gears selection and changing is fine while driving clutch is fine - slave no leaks or problems no crunching or other noises in the box oil level ok

Pretty sure these use two cables too shift the gearbox, I also think that there is a little it of play where they connect that could cause an issue like this.

I wish it was cables
I wish it was just the bush to replace ..car drives so well gear stick isnt sloppy the other gears and reverse pops in and out easy as this 1.5 manual box wants to be to be a pain has a single shift rod into the box and a stay bar thanks to Big Damo post 12 second picture scan 41-B10 this link http://www.fordforums.com.au/showthread.php?t=11425382

where is the clutch cutting in? if its very close to the floor and the clutch is adjustable,
i would try adjusting it up just a tad and see if it makes a difference. |

owner found the keys today
and will have the cash soon to take out and refit another gearbox not helping 35 degree heat plus days . in the open on sloping pavers no power points
