Is there a list of regular charity events such as this? I would like to do one in the next year or 2 from NSW if possible.
Good luck in your trip |

We signed up within a few days of this event opening and got put on a waiting list in case people didn't pay their entry fees before the due date. They limited it to 120 cars and we missed out first time around. |

So how did you get accepted into the rally and be chosen for 1 of the 120 cars?

seriously though we were just lucky. i live at Elcho island and ball is at Katherine so it was just luck that we found out about the rally. luck has payed a large part in our rally prep so far. the first car we bought ended up having a few dramas but you dont get much of a merc for $200 on ebay. it did do a good burnout however. thankfully we found a limo owner that wanted a dead merc so we were able to do a straight swap. if you would like to help us raise some money for the cancer council please go here to donate http://www.everydayhero.com.au/cable_tie_racing if anybody would like to help with fundraising or to get a business sticker on the car please get in touch with us. |

sounds like it'll be a lot of fun. you'll be safe if you roll over into a river, it should float.

Well here is a photo of what the lads Luke and Pete have been up to over the last few weeks what a transformation Changing rooms has nothing on these two.
The silver is of a Hammer tone variety applied with a 3" brush and the red is to make it go fast also applied with a 3" brush I suspect. This is going to be one awesome trip. As a side note Has anyone in Brisbane area got some front seats from an XD/XF they want to sell (as the drivers one was welded up to get through rego) and 2 x 14" rims for our spares that would be great just p.m me and I will come over and pick them up What do you all think? P.S IT'S NEVER TOO LATE TO DONATE SO GET YOUR HAND IN YOUR POCKET AND NOT FOR A GAME OF POCKET BILLIARDS. IT'S FOR A GREAT CAUSE.

Nice looking good! Some more brush work wouldn't hurt, just to make it really stand out

Well done on all this, I would love to look at doing one of these one year.
People would probably tell me to do it in a VN, but they're not sh!tboxes. Hope all goes well!

Well night 2 and the crusty old falcon is still going. We hit the dirt tomorrow.
Today we go rammed by a taxi in Longreach. The scumbag didn't even stop, so we dobbed him in to the coppers. We also made the NT paper. Tomorrow we get to terrorise the NT news reporter that wrote the article as he asked us for a lift. http://www.ntnews.com.au/article/201...kes-boats.html |
