Hi guys
Went to my local dealer today and asked for the oil filter for the Fiesta 1.6. He gave me the Motorcraft AFL 4 which has red writing on it, but when I looked under the car when I got home it has blue writing? Anyone who changes their own oil know if I got the correct filter? Cheers Phil |

If he got it from the computer, odds are it's correct. It could just be a different style. Just make sure the height and width are correct.

Factory fitted filters are some times differant to dealer stock. Just like dealers use different brands of oil

He gave you an AFL4? Catalogue lists an AFL63MC. thing is with those oil filters you could use either. the one that comes on the car from factory for fiesta's is different to the Motorcraft replacement filters. the original one is too expensive for some reason
so yeah, use the AFL4, it's fine partzkid |

The XR4 uses the Motorcraft AFL4, I use that filter on mine, dont know if it would be OK for the 1.6L Duratec though?
