SCT and Generic tune for Boss 302

Dear Chris and Team - I'm from WA, but considering the great things I read about you guys, was just wondering if you might be able to help me out...

I have a BFII Cobra with the Boss 302. Its pretty much standard, just have a cat-back exhaust for a bit better sound.

Would like to know if you have any custom tunes for the 302 in stock form that you can upload on an SCT X3 and supply to me please? Like I said, motor is pretty much stock and I'm not sure if I need to go to the expense of a custom tune if you already have one in your system. I'm just looking to 'tighten' her up; improve throttle response, A/F ratio, etc. I only ever run BP 98.

maybe 'generic' isnt the right word... what i'm looking for is a custom tune for a stock Boss 302, without having to go to the expense of getting it dyno-tuned.

Why dont you just get it tuned local by XFT or someone.

The tune your looking for is still GENERIC if you dont run on a dyno and see what your particular engine is doing.

I know Chris has done mail order tunes but you still need a dyno to show Chris what happens when his tune is loaded.

For the extra cost of a few hundred $$$ i'd be heading to XFT in Perth for a custom tune.

Well, I called yesterday and spoke to Chris on the mail order custom tunes.
Big thanks to Chris... very humbled by the time he gave me to talk about this over the phone. He is obvioulsy very busy (keeping all of us forum customers happy!) yet he explained everything to me propperly, making sure I understand the process.

I feel that this is a service that can benefit someone like me... I travel alot for work and when I am home for the weekends, I want to be driving the bejesus out of my car, not taking it to a workshop and leaving it there for the day.

My understanding is that no dyno run is required. Chris will compile 3 versions of a tune and send them to me on an SCT. I'll have a play with them and let him know which one I like. From there some fine tuning may be required.

I'm not chasing dyno numbers, just after a better feeling, better responding and all round better performing vehicle. I think this is an option worth considering.
